One of the Reasons Why I Became a Knife Junkie
Seamless in action and sleek to the minutest detail, the superb and thinly sharpened Mini Bowie Knife, with faux Damascus etching, enhances the fancier approach to wearing a sheath upon one's belt. Measuring 6.5" overall, the light colored handle of this exquisite piece is manufactured with stiff wood featuring a brass guard and pommel. Old fashioned, traditional and master craftsmanship all inclusive.
Breath Stifling, Seal Knife by Sog
Also known as the Seal Pup Elite, the camo blade is the ultimate eye catch for me. Striped camouflage blades always inhibit a military or hunting style appeal. This Seal Pup is definitely one of the tough guys in this series.
For the Blade Enthusiast: Boker's Savannah Fixed Hunting Knife
Purely a matchless blade, this gargantuan, 9-3/8" knife (with 5" blade) features grooved canvas micarta scales on its handle for a sure, stiff grip. Do you see them? Yes, scales! What an ingenious avenue to manufacturer knife handles with. The manufacturer, I read, contends the following:
"The massive blade features an attractive two-tone finish, and is made of N690B0 steel, which is a special alloy containing cobalt, exclusively created in a collaboration between Austrian steel manufacturer Böhler and Böker."
Wow. If this particular match doesn't impress you, maybe you're more interested in toothpicks.
Picture of a Rich Boker Piece: The Tirpitz Damascus
Would you fish or hunt with the Tirpitz Damascus in the palm of your hand? The Tirpitz was the largest battleship ever built for the German Navy. On November 12, 1944, the British Royal Air Force attached it with special tallboy bombs, settling it near the shore in shallow water. After the war, a Norwegian specialty company took interest in the steel of the Tirpitz and retrieved parts from the Fjord.
This knife combines history, tradition and modern technology in a more than unique way. Blade length: 3-7/8"; overall length: 9"; liner thickness: 1/16"; weight: 5.9-ounces.
Pay extra attention to the 300 layers of hand-forged, Damascus steel, 61° HRC hardness due to the combination of Tirpitz steel and carbon tool steels, the handle which is AlMgSi1 aluminum (with Silicium) and hardcoat anodized, domestic walnut handle inlay with original Tirpitz crest and reversible clip for tip-up or tip-down portability.
Sweet Looking, Limited Kershaw Folder
More than likely one of Kershaw's knives of the century due to this model's 250-piece limited edition line. This knife features milled titanium handles and a 3" CPM 440V hand rubbed blade. Pictures is # 168 of 250.
Bear and Son's 597 is a Picture Worth Viewing
This folding knife I came across not minding my business online again. I couldn't help but notice the Jigged India stag bone handles with nickel silver bolsters. Wow, even the stainless steel clip blade is fashioned with high carbon. A made in the U.S.A knife image worth posting. Measures 5" closed.
Radical Although Miniature Survival Knife with Sheath
This knife simply ain't kiddin'. Although it sports a miniature appeal, it's sleek action is purely survival style. The matching black, nylon sheath adds stealth to this piece measuring 7.5" overall (blade: 4").
