For the Martial Artist in You: Tomahawk's Knife Throwing Set

I had the privilege of observing a knife throwing expert practice her craft on a hollowed out tree trunk. She used this 3-piece set while her accuracy when throwing was on target every time. In addition to the name JOKER printed on the blade, beneath it reads "Why So Serious?". The Dark Knight Rises film inspires knife fanciers everywhere with the Joker's choice of blade. This particular model features the infamous "slit" in the center of its stainless steel blade, a speed action opening mechanism and textured, black handle. Measuring 4-1/2" closed, the knife's blade measures approximately 3-1/2". A sensational collector's piece overall.

Knife for Christmas

When I was a teenager, or little sea urchin as some would say, my father had gifted me with what resembled a Japanese Samurai sword one Christmas. Only this Samurai sword was considered miniature due to its sheer size. My father purchased his find at a local flea market. It turned out to be the Kubon by Cold Steel.

The Kubon is a Tanto-style boot knife actually named after the Japanese word for "soldier". This lightweight knife has a blade made of Japanese AUS 8A stainless steel with a reinforced point that's highly resistant to bending or breakage. The blade's spine runs nearly to the tip of the blade for added durability and a checkered, nonslip Kraton handle has minimum bulk with a great deal of grip. Its cross section is designed to be as thin as possible at only a half inch and contoured to resist turning or shifting in your palm.

I had watched a video of 2 hunters tracking wild pigs with dogs. Each of these hunters grasped Cold Steel's Boar Hunter (pictured) when hot on the pigs' trail. This fixed blade is Celtic fashioned, measuring 8-3/4". The integral, double guard and sub-hilt handle measures 5-1/8" while the knife finishes with an overall length of 13-7/8". A master to accompany you during your boar hunt. The video I am referring to took place in Texas where, from my understanding, is overrun with boars in particular areas.

Batman's Batarang

The twin razors of this Batarang are so sharp, the Joker himself would cringe by just the sight of it. If need be, the Riddler, Penguin, Two Face and Mr. Freeze would meet with this tool. The blades of the razors are composed of 440 stainless steel. The black finished ABS handle is shaped like the Batman logo and imprinted with traditional Batman insignia. When folded, this piece exhibits the shape of the Batarang. With a liner lock mechanism and thumb studs, the knife measures 5-3/4" closed and 11" when fully opened. A true portrait of the Batman fancier's must have collectible.
