Be sure to shower afterward so your pores release all the unnecessary impurities, chlorine, etc. absorbed when wading. Your shower should be warm to naturally reopen your pores to extrude sweat and said impurities. A plate of spaghetti personally helped me sustain a lunchtime appetite and restore energy after my shower.
There just seemed to be something about the warm water and sun that day (between 12:00-2:00pm; zero humidity climate). Figured I would pass the experience on.
